Jason Kilar CEO of Unnamed Online video venture

NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- NBC Universal and News Corp. (NWS) have named Jason Kilar, a former executive at Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN), as chief executive of a planned online-video venture.

The media giants announced their still-unnamed online entity three months ago. It was conceived as a way to make TV shows and films available across much of the Internet. The venture, which is slated to launch later this year, is seen in part as a way to outflank Google Inc.'s (GOOG) popular YouTube online-video site.

Kilar, 36, was key executive at Amazon.com for nearly a decade until leaving the online retailer last year, NBC Universal and News Corp. said in a statement.

"We are very pleased to have an executive of Jason's caliber take the reins of our groundbreaking joint venture," NBC Universal Chief Executive Jeff Zucker said in a statement. NBC Universal is a unit of General Electric Co. (GE).

Iam anxiously waiting to see how that would shape up, no doubt NBC and News Corp have abundant premium content for customers..!

Just wondering what would they name the product/service ???
what would be your guess?

Comments, suggestions and feedback welcome :)
